Practice Game II

Alright my second game this evening.

This time I would have to fight against a Tau army:

Commander

3x 3 Crisis teams

1x 6 Fire warriors
3x 3 Kroot with hounds

Pathfinders with their car
1x 1 Broadside
1x 2 Broadsides
1x 1 Hammerhead

(I'm not sure about the particular war gear but it should be pretty much standard for Tau. -> missile pods, rail guns and outflanking kroot)

The mission was to get into the opponents deployment zone. Every unit would award 1 mission objective and every troop choice would award 2.
Tau player got the first turn.

Practice Game I

Man, yesterday was amazing!

We met up at the a local students' fraternity (one of our club members is the boss there or something like this) and we were able to play two games, instead of one.
Between the games we had plenty of time for small talk and the great lasagna made by our host.
After the stress with the exams and other tests a whole afternoon dedicated to the hobby was more than welcome and I think everyone of us enjoyed it.

My first game was against "barroomhero" he is an experienced Space Marines player and someone who played nearly every codex so far and he loves his power armors.
This time he brought his Grey Knights and they are a quite nasty match up for my Space Wolves, but back then I was quite optimistic about my chances of success.

His army list was:

Coteaz
Malleus Inquisitor, TDA, Psycannon, Hammer, 3x Servo skulls

10 Purifiers, 3x Halberds, 1x Hammer, 4x Psycannons
5 Purifiers, 1x Hammer, 2x Psycannons, Psyback

10 Grey Knights, 1x Hammer, 2x Psycannons, Psy ammunition
5 Acolytes, 3x Meltas, Psyback
5 Acolytes , 3x Meltas, Psyback
5 Acolytes , 3x Meltas, Psyback
5 Psykers + 1 Acolyte, Chimera

NGC 1850 Gedanken/thoughts

Okay,

I am finally done with my exams for this term (more or less) and the first big tournament is in sight! (first week of march)
The point limit will be 1850, special characters alongside with Forgeworld will be allowed.

Here is my first concept:

So, hier mal ein paar Bilder von meinen Space Wolves.

Es sind nicht die hübschesten Modelle und ich werde sicherlich an keinen Golden-Demon-Wettbewert teilnehmen, aber ich bin zufrieden mit ihnen.

Ich werde auch versuchen mal ein Gesamtbild von meinen ca. 4000 Punkten Space Wolves zu machen. Leider nehmen mich die Klausuren ganz schön aus dem Hobby raus im Moment, dass sollte sich aber nach der nächsten Woche endlich erledigt haben!
Dann kann ich auch endlich den Blog weiter aufhübschen und einstellen.

Alright, here are some pictures of my Space Wolves.

They are not the prettiest and I will most certainly never attend to a Golden-Demon-competition, but I am quite satisfied with the outcome.

In the future I will try to take a picture of my Space Wolves army as whole (around 4000 points).
Unfortunately I have to deal with the terms exams right now and  at the moment there is not much time left for the hobby or the blog, but in a week or two it should be done and I will be back.
Than I can finally customize the blog and bring up more content.

Heyo,

ich habe mich endlich entscheiden können welchen Weg ich mit diesem Blog einschlagen möchte!

Selbstverständlich wird er sich mit meinem lieblings-Hobby Warhammer 40k und allem was dazu gehört beschäftigen. 

Des weiteren bin ich mir aber sicher, dass es eine total töffige Idee wäre, wenn ich das Nützliche mit dem Praktischen Verbinde. Ich studiere nämlich Sprachen und unter anderem auch Englisch, somit werde ich diesen Blog zweisprachig gestaltet.

Damit erreiche ich gleich mehrere Ziele, zum einen erreiche ich natürlich viel mehr Leute. Zum anderen habe ich die Möglichkeit an meiner Ausdrucksweise und allg. Rechtschreibung zu arbeiten, da die Texte die ich auf Deutsch verfasse auch in Englisch erscheinen werden.

Ich hoffe dass euch diese Idee ebenfalls gefällt und ich die kommenden Tage damit beginnen kann gezielt Inhalte hinzuzufügen. Geplant sind unter anderem Videos, Streams, Schlachtberichte und vieles mehr!

Heyo,

I finally decided what I want to do with this blog.
Naturally it will be about my favorite hobby, warhammer 40k and all the neat things around it.

In addition, I have got an outstanding idea. I am currently studying languages, including English, so I am going to organize this blog in a bilingual fashion.

There are different reasons for that, at first I will obviously be able to reach far more people with both languages. Secondly, I will get the opportunity to improve my grammar and my style of writing.

Which are both quite mandatory for a good college degree. :D

I hope you like the idea and I get the chance to start uploading content in the next couple of days. I would like to share a lot of videos, streams, battle reports and so on with you in the future.
